Pastor Paul Speicher Sharing With The Congregation
Pastor Jonathon Chambers speaking to our congregation:
Recently the NIV and ESV versions of the Holy Bible, have removed certain scriptures, including any reference to the Blood of Christ. This to me is like removing someone’s heart, and expecting them to live. As I’ve said before, everything comes down to our relationship with God, but that relationship is dependent upon the blood of Jesus. It is because of Christ’s atoning work on the cross, that God is able to extend his “Grace” to you and me. I for one refuse to compromise the truth of God’s Word, and will be preaching the “Blood” this morning. “How precious is the flow that washes white as snow…precious is the blood of Jesus!”
Matthew 26:28
for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.
Hebrews 9:22 (NASB)
And according to the Law, one may almost say, all things are cleansed with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
When God deals with his kids, he does so based on “COVENANT” relationship. Few of us though, understand the terms of our Covenant with our Heavenly Father, or how to keep them. This is important to understanding the most important relationship that we will ever have; a relationship that effects all others. This Sunday we’ll look at the “everlasting” Covenant that God has offered to all mankind through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
Genesis 9:12
God said, “This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all successive generations;
